Anchored by Faith Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in honor of Jennie Butler—a loving mother, dear friend, and faithful warrior who dedicated her life to helping others. Jennie’s steadfast faith, compassion, and resilience throughout her cancer journey became the inspiration behind our mission. Her legacy lives on in the work we do every day, as we strive to bring faith, courage, and hope to others facing similar battles.
Our foundation is committed to supporting those affected by cancer by helping fund alternative and integrative treatments—options that are often overlooked or denied by traditional insurance plans. These treatments can offer comfort, healing, and improved quality of life, but the financial burden can be overwhelming. We believe that everyone should have access to the care path they feel is right for them.
In addition to medical support, we also raise funds to give cancer patients and their families opportunities to rest, reconnect, and create cherished memories through getaways and vacations—a vital part of emotional healing during such a difficult journey.
Every effort we make is grounded in love, faith, and the belief that no one should face cancer alone.
Past and Upcoming Accomplishments
Community Garage Sale
Board members and dedicated volunteers gathered gently used items from the community and hosted a local garage sale to raise funds for Anchored by Faith.
Bake sale
Our dedicated board members and volunteers came together to host a homemade bake sale, offering cookies, brownies, cakes, and pastries to the local community—all to raise funds in support of Anchored by Faith.
Golf Tournament
Jennie’s Courage Cup is a charity golf tournament organized by the board members of Anchored by Faith. The event brings together sponsors and players to help raise vital funds in support of our mission to assist those impacted by cancer.
Holiday Shopping Extravaganza
Please join us at The Ponds for a lovely holiday extravaganza on November 2nd, 2025! Our dedicated board members and volunteers will be selling candles and bracelets. Everyone who buys an item will be entered for a chance to win 4 tickets to see The South Carolina Stingrays!

Jennie's Courage Cup Golf Tournament
We are thrilled to share that Jennie’s Courage Cup Tournament was a tremendous success, raising an incredible $12,710.82 in profit! A huge congratulations to Team Collins for taking the top spot in the tournament! A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our generous sponsors—your support made this event possible and impactful.
